Acrylic Collage and Open Painting Studio
Third Session – Intermediate to Advanced
For those artists working in acrylic collage she will demonstrate and show how to create an abstract collage based on the elements and principles of design. Mary will address the process of having your work reflect your own ideas, inspiration and interests. Those artists working in acrylic will see how to create an abstract collage based on the elements and principles of design. Each artist will complete 3-4 collages from start to finish.
This session will also be an opportunity for artists to work independently, with individual critiques on work done in class as well as previously completed work. The class will focus on ways to create a body of quality work, reflecting your interests and individuality. Portfolio creation, presentation, pricing, approaching a gallery and developing a relationship with your collectors and gallery are things that will be discussed. Mary has combined the Open Studio and Collage concept for the past 13 years with excellent results.
