13th Annual Lip-Rippin’ Chilympics Chili Cook-Off

The event is located in Spud’s Waterfront Dining Parking lot.  The day of the event is October 14th, 2012, and it will be held from 12-6p.m.  Throughout the day there will be many different chili samples to try from.  This isn’t your typical chili by any means.  This is the best chili samples in the area that have been created by local residents and also local restaurants.  There will be many prizes given out throughout the day when it comes to this fun and exciting event.  There are the following prizes including best overall, best theme, best use of South Carolina ingredients, hottest chili, and many more.  If you love chili and great food you will not want to miss this event.

There is much more to the 13th Annual Lip-Rippin’ Chilympics Chili Cook-Off than just food.  There will be live band performing throughout the day with all of the most popular hits that everyone knows to keep the entertainment going.  Also, there is great entertainment for the kids with inflatables and face painting.  The event is also for a great cause, and all of the proceeds go to the Grand Strand Surfrider Foundation.  The admission is free, but there is a charge for food samples and drinks.
